Overview
This qualification is endorsed by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA). Through completion of this qualification, learners will meet industry requirements for awareness and/or implementation of safeguarding procedures to protect children, as set out within CIMSPA’s professional standard.

To achieve the YMCA Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People (603/7215/1), learners must complete one mandatory unit from a choice of three:
